Meeting in St Mary's Church, a 900-year old building nestled at the bottom of Ham Hill, we are a small community of believers, aiming to love the Lord God with all our hearts, follow and obey Jesus and serve Him with our lives, through the power graciously given to us by the Holy Spirit.

Our mission is to be constantly renewed in God's love through repentance, to be a witness to the transforming power of His truth in our own lives, and to pour out His love to the community around us.

New hours, new menu!

We have been thrilled to see so many customers in the Coffee Shop

since we opened in February 2010,

with an average of around 60 for each day that we have opened.

Many customers have quickly become regulars and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly welcome.

From 13 September 2010 our opening hours will be changing

and we will be serving simple lunches.

Come and see us on Mondays and Thursdays

from 9.30 am right through to 4.30 pm

and check out our paninis and ploughman's!

The Lighthouse Coffee Shop (nee All Saints' Hall) in West Street is OPEN for business!

Converting the hall was a real “St Mary’s family” project – and too many people to mention have spent hours, and donated wonderful gifts, to transform the old hall into a beautiful coffee shop in the heart of our community.

Two special people deserve our heartfelt thanks: Without Judy Clarke’s vision, stamina and negotiating skills we would not be serving coffee now. Without David Barnard’s expertise and tireless drive for near perfection, the hall would not be complete. David also managed to keep his sense of humour whilst training and supervising the small army of volunteer helpers who gave their time to assist with decoration and “the final touches”.

So - the hall is now open, looks incredible, and is serving coffee and cakes to Stoke sub Hamdon on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 to 12.30 then from 2 to 5 – including from 3.15 on both days a “drop in cafe” for young people. Please do come along, see the work that has been done – and enjoy some refreshments and a chat.

More information on the conversion of the hall, our many wonderful sponsors, and pictures of how the work was done are on the "All Saints' Hall" pages of our website.
